Dengue Cases On The Rise In Lucknow, Administration Takes Stock
Lucknow, Sep 4 (TNA) While many parts of Uttar Pradesh, primarily, Agra, Firozabad, Hathras, Kasganj and Kanpur are singed with the menace of Dengue and other viral fevers, it is now the turn of the state capital to face the scourge.
Slowly but steadily, Dengue is spreading in many parts of the city and according to reports, there is a spiral in the number of cases in areas such as Latousche road, Indiranagar, Qaiserbagh, Aminabad, Aishbagh, Nishatganj, Mahanagar, Badshahnagar, Aliganj, Niralanagar and Aliganj.
Following a spurt in the number of Dengue case, district magistrate Abhishek Prakash has formed mirror-level teams which are overseeing the spraying of anti-larva solution and ensuring cleanliness in most of these areas.
Doctors say that while there is certainly no immediate alarm, they cautioned that the rains have led to a considerable rise in the number of Dengue and viral fever cases.
