Covid On The Ebb In Uttar Pradesh, 28 Districts Corona Free Now
Lucknow, Sep 7 (TNA) Life is rapidly returning to normal in the state, amidst effective control over the second wave of corona, an official said on Tuesday while informing that 28 districts of the state.
These include Aligarh, Amroha, Ayodhya, Baghpat, Ballia, Banda, Basti, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kaushambi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Mathura, Mirzapur, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Shamli, Sitapur, Sonbhadra, which now have not a single patient of Covid left.
On an average, more than 2.5 lakh tests are being done every day, while the positivity rate has come down to less than 0.01 and the recovery rate is 98.7 percent.
In the testing of 01 lakh 85 thousand 793 samples conducted in the last 24 hours, not a single new case of infection was found in 64 districts, while in 10 districts patients were found in single digit.
At present, the number of active Covid cases in the state has come down to 227. Health officials however say that it was time to exercise abundant caution and that a little carelessness can trigger a spurt in the infection.
So far 07 crore 36 lakh 38 thousand 873 Covid samples have been investigated. In the last 24-hours of testing, 12 new patients were confirmed. In the same period, 31 patients were discharged after recovering.
So far, 16 lakh 86 thousand 369 residents of the state have become healthy after getting free from corona infection. To further improve this situation, all necessary arrangements should be made in accordance with the policy of trace, test and treat.
