Coronavirus Cases Unabated In UP, Lucknow Reports 769 Fresh Cases

LUCKNOW || The dreaded Coronavirus showed no signs of abating on the weekend in Uttar Pradesh, specially in the state capital Lucknow as a whopping 769 fresh cases have been reported in the last 24-hours. There have been 15 deaths as well in the last one day, taking the toll till now to 276.

Gorakhpur, the 'karmbhoomi' of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, has zipped past other districts in the fresh case list and has logged 363 new cases in the last 24-hours. The numbers have also swelled up in the holy city of Prayagraj, with 300 new cases, with 2341 cases and 121 deaths.

Kanpur saw a minor decline with 231 new cases and no deaths. Noida reported 98 new cases in one day and thankfully no deaths. Ghaziabad has 1142 new cases with 77 cases reported in the last 24-hours.

Varanasi (154), Bareilly (134), Jhansi (117), Moradabad (156), Aligarh (105), Deoria (136), Barabanki (134) and Saharanpur with 128 new cases are districts where COVID is painting a worrying picture.
