LUCKNOW || After transfer of some IPS officials recently, the Uttar Pradesh government has now turned attention to the bureaucracy and transferred 15 IAS officials on Saturday. According to information made available by the state government, eight district magistrates are among the IAS officials transferred.
In a move that appears to stem from the displeasure of the chief minister Yogi Adityanath, seven on the 8 DM's transferred have been put in waiting and not given any new assignment. New District Magistrates have been posted in eight districts. The districts where new District Magistrates have been deployed include Meerut, Etawah, Sitapur, Lalitpur, Ghazipur, Mau, Santakabir Nagar and Sultanpur.
Special Secretary and Staff Officer, Chief Secretary Vishal Bhardwaj has been transferred to Sitapur, Special Secretary Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department AP Dinesh Kumar has been posted as Lalitpur, Secretary Lucknow Development Authority Mangla Prasad Singh has been posted as Ghazipur, Vice Chairman of Meerut Development Authority Rajesh Kumar Pandey has been appointed as DM Mau.
Vice-chairman of the Bareilly Development Authority Divya Mittal has been posted as District Magistrate of Sant Kabir Nagar and Sant Kabir Nagar Ravish Gupta has been made the District Magistrate of Sultanpur. .
Anil Dhingra, Meerut DM, Etawah Jitendra Bahadur Singh, Sitapur DM Akhilesh Tiwari, Lalitpur DM Yogesh Kumar Shukla, Sultanpur DM C. Indumati, Ghazipur DM Om Prakash Arya and Mau District Collector Gyan Prakash Tripathi has been removed and put on the waiting list.
