Allahabad High Court Lawyers To Return To Work Today After Strike Called Off

Prayagraj, August 29 (TNA) Striking lawyers of the Allahabad High Court (HC) after calling off their ongoing strike late on Sunday will return to work today. The High Court Bar Association has taken this decision on the assurance of the Chief Justice.

The lawyers were on strike since Wednesday. Their demand was that the High Court administration should improve the system in matters related to litigation, including the system of hearing new cases and the system of listing. The High Court Bar Association has also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Justice several times in the past with regards to this.
