22 New Covid Cases In Kanpur, Yogi Calls For More Vigil

Lucknow, July 28 (TNA) With 22 new cases of Coronavirus being detected in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday instructed district officials to ensure detailed testing and to take immediate follow up action. The chief minister also asked all officials to ensure no laxity against Covid protocol.

All necessary efforts should be continued in accordance with the policy of trace, test and treat, he further added. In the last 24 hours, around 2.54 lakh Covid samples were examined and 89 new patients were confirmed, while 116 patients were discharged after recovering.
