UP Uses Tejas To Promote ‘Rangotsava’, Boost Tourism

LUCKNOW || The Uttar Pradesh government has devised an innovative way to promote tourism in the state and increase the footfall of both domestic and international tourists.

According to an official the state’s UP tourism department has rolled out a unique but massive publicity blitzkrieg to promote the ‘Rangotsava’, a unique blend of colours and tradition, the present BJP government has initiated in Vrindavan, Mathura and Barsana.

After the Deepotsava in Ayodhya where a record number of earthen lamps were lit up on the banks of Saryu river, the state government from last year has promoted the unique celebration of Holi- the festival of colours in Barsana and now the Tejas train between Lucknow to New Delhi has been used for its promotion.

Tejas is the first private train in the country. Many other places of tourist interest have also been used in tejas.
