With the AAP cruising ahead decently and it is likely to return to power for another term, several AAP workers and leaders in UP danced to the tunes of drums and burs crackers at Aishbagh where live results were being shown on a large LED screen.
Video grabs and photographs shared by AAP workers showed ecstatic party workers and supporters dancing, raising pro-Kejriwal slogans and distributing sweets amongst themselves. Vaibhav Maheshwari, the chief spokesman of AAP in Uttar Pradesh, told The News Agency that the results were a clear cut endorsement of good governance of Kejriwal government in the past five years.
He also thanked the voters in Delhi for decisively throwing their lot behind AAP’s pro-development policies.
