UP Metro Warns People Against Fraudulent Recruitment Scams

LUCKNOW || The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) on Monday warned people against any fraudulent hob scams that fake and fraud people might offer them. After the recent recruitment process on 183 (official, executive and non-executive) posts in Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), some fraudsters are trying to make money from job seeking candidates by making fake recruitment advertisements in the name of the company, it said in a statement.

In the past, many cases of cheating people through fake documents related to the appointment have been reported.

This time, a person falsely claimed to be a Senior HR Executive in Uttar Pradesh Metro is misleading the candidates through fake e-mails and luring money to recruit for positions like Graduate Engineer Trainee, Senior Engineer, Junior Engineer in UP Metro. The email has also demanded Rs.80000 in favour of the recruitment.

A fake mobile number has also been given in the name of the company and the candidates have also been asked to contact them if there is any problem with the documents. UP Metro Rail Corporation has been reiterating time and again that all recruitment is done entirely on merit and candidates should beware of falling prey to any such fraud.

Moreover, all the recruitment related information including vacancy announcement, examination details, results, etc. is available on our official website www.upmetrorail.com This is the only website that’s operated by UPMRC and any other websites should not be trusted, the Public Relations department of the UP Metro underlined.

“UPMRC appeals to everyone to be vigilant and not trust any source of information rather than the official website www.upmetrorail.com, Facebook and Twitter account @OfficialUPMetro that have verified blue ticks” it further said.
