LUCKNOW || Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel visited the famous Hanuman Setu temple in the state capital on Thursday. She turned 78 today and the visit coincided with her birthday. Dressed in blue, the amiable governor, who was earlier the chief minister of Gujarat also interacted with the kids who study Sanskrit and other religious scriptures at the Hanuman Setu-Neeb Karori Baba ashram.
Patel seems to have developed great faith in Neeb Karoti Baba, often called by his followers as ‘Maharaj Ji’, as she recently visited the Kainchi Dham ashram of the great seer in Nainital district of Uttarakhand.
She has won many hearts with her kind deeds and humble nature ever since she became an occupant of Raj Bhawan in Lucknow a few months back.
Anandiben Patel is an Indian politician and the current Governor of Uttar Pradesh and former Chief Minister of Gujarat, a western state of India. She was the first woman chief minister of the state. She is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 1987. She was the Cabinet Minister for Education from 2002 to 2007
