LUCKNOW || Senior IPS officer Amitabh Thakur on Saturday made serious allegations against officers of the UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Lucknow regarding their role in Excise constable Exam, 2016 matter.
In his letter to the Chairman of the Commission, Amitabh said that a Lucknow Court has quashed the Final report of CBCID in the alleged leak of paper through WhatsApp before the commencement of the second session of Excise constable test and has directed further investigation.
In contrast, the Commission’s officers are telling the Candidates that the exam result is withheld only because of Amitabh and they shall build pressure on him.
These officers have also presented wrong facts in the Petition filed about this Exam before the Allahabad High Court. While the case had been registered at Vibhuti Khand police station and investigated by CBCID, the Commission’s officers deliberately hid this fact and mentioned about some other Vigilance enquiry which had been dropped by Vigilance.
Based on this input, the High Court had directed a time-bound declaration of the result. Amitabh has requested the Commission’s Chairman to take strict action against those officers who deliberately presented wrong facts before the High Court and are conniving to get the result declared, despite the pendency of the criminal case.
