UP CM’s Office Spends Rs 37 Lakh Monthly On Its Staff: RTI

LUCKNOW || According to information provided in response to an RTI query, the UP Chief Minister office and Secretariat Administration Department spends around Rs 37 lakh on paying off personnel working at the office of chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

In response to a query by local activist Nutan Thakur, officials informed that the UP Chief Minister has one Principal Personal Secretary and 6 Personal Secretary with him, of which 3 are at Lok Bhavan and 3 at Kalidas Marg.

The saffron-robed chief minister has 12 Additional PS, of which 4 are at Lok Bhavan and 8 at Kalidas Marg. The monthly expenses on these personnel are Rs 12,38,174. CM has 23 Review Officers, 8 Assistant Review Officers, 4 Computer Assistants and 2 contractual personnel working for him. 03 of these are posted at Gorakhpur Camp office. The total monthly expenses on these 35 personnel are Rs 23,14,702/-.

Personnel Secretary of CM has 04 personnel with him, which costs Rs 1,67,546/- per month. In addition, retired PCS officer Motilal Singh is Public Grievance officer at the Gorakhpur camp office with monthly expense of Rs 58,156/-.
