UP 112 Receives Death Threat To Yogi Adityanath, FIR Lodged

LUCKNOW || The UP-112 police service late on Thursday received a threatening message on its WhatsApp number, police said. The message received late at night from a number 8828453350 threatened to throw a bomb on chief minister Yogi Adityanath and kill him.

Since the matter involved the chief minister, the police immediately swung into action and the number is being traced. On true Caller, phone identifying application, the number is showing: Hi Guy, Just Abusing! Police officials said an FIR has been lodged in the Gomtinagar police station of the state capital.

The FIR has been lodged by inspector Dheeraj Kumar, detailing how the number 7570000100 of the UP 112 received a message at around 12:32 midnight. An official informed that the police has so far gathered some vital information on the person from whose number this threat was served.

An FIR has been lodged, a probe is underway,” Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey said.
