LUCKNOW || The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday made Bollywood movie Tanha Ji The Unsung Warrior tax free in the state. Information with regards to this was shared by the chief minister’s office. Hero of the film, Ajay Devgn soon took to Twitter to thank the UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath for making the film, also his 100th Hindi film, tax-free.
“Thank you Shri Yogi Adityanathji for making #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior Tax-Free in Uttar Pradesh. I would also be delighted Sir if you watched our film 🙏 @myogiadityanath #TanhajiUnitesIndia” the 50-year-old actor wrote while asking the monk-turned-politician to also watch the movie.
Based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a 17th-century Maharashtrian Marathi military leader. The film was made on a staggering budget of Rs 150 crore and released on January 10. It has been directed by the Om Raut and music has been given by Ajay-Atul, Sachet–Parampara, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy and Sandeep Shirodkar. The film has been received well by the audiences and critics.
