Rampant Corruption In UP, CM Should Come Clean: Congress

LUCKNOW || Alleging rampant corruption in all government departments in Uttar Pradesh, especially the Police, Congress has demanded a judicial probe into the whole issue, triggered after the SSP Noida accrued five IPS officials of running a transfer-posting racket for money.

Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) chief Ajay Kumar ‘Lallu’ said the confidential letters leaked by SSP of Noida, Vaibhav Krishna has revealed that corruption was the order of the day under the Yogi Adityanath-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state.

There is a price tag for all postings in the state, be it at the government level in Lucknow or the districts” he alleged. The Congress leader went on to accuse the BJP government of not only turning a blind eye to the serious allegations of the Noida police chief but also trying to save the corrupt.

Where is the chief minister? he questioned while demanding that Adityanath should come clean on the allegations and tell the public what the truth was. There is a criminal who has been slapped with Gangster Act and now he is reportedly fixing transfer postings in the state’s police department, the UP Congress chief further added.
