Prohibitory Orders In Noida, ISCKON Temple Closed Till March 31

NOIDA || With the scare of the Corona Virus getting real in Noida, neighbouring the union capital, the prominent ISKCON temple in sector 33 has been closed for public, an office-bearer of the management said on Thursday. The popular temple has been closed till March 31.

Meanwhile, the police commissioner of Noida has also imposed prohibitory orders under section 144 of the IPC. People have hence been barred to be in public places in a group of more than four.

This will remain in place till April 5, an official told The News Agency.

Religious functions, exhibitions and rallies have also been put off by the administration. All cultural events, public rallies, political programmes, educational, social and family events have also been cancelled till further orders. So far four persons have been diagnosed with the deadly virus in Noida. The latest being a 26-year-old who recently returned from Indonesia.
