LUCKNOW || The scare of the COVID-19 finally seems to have reached the Gods doorstep. For after the shutdown ordered by the government of schools, gyms, Malls, multiplexes and film halls, Tuesday saw the closure of many temples, including the Shirdi Sai temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra.
The temple that draws millions every year was closed for devotees as per government orders, officials of the Shirdi Sai Sansthan trust said.
The famous Siddhi Vinayak temple in Maharashtra, which has footfalls of millions every month, has also been closed. In Kamakhya temple in Assam, many other restrictions like limiting the visitor’s strength to 50%, stopping of Prasad has also been rolled out.
