LUCKNOW || Veteran politician and three-time Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to the SGPGI in Lucknow late on Wednesday after he complained of severe pain in the abdomen, family sources said.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the chief medical superintendent (CMS) Amit Agarwal, Mulayam was admitted to the medical facility with “stomach ache“.
He further added that his “vitals and other parameters are normal” and added that the veteran leader was stable. There was panic in the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the family after the news of the patriarch being indisposed and hospitalised spread. Mulayam has been battling various ailments for the past few years and is rarely seen in public.
The 79-year-old Yadav chieftain was a few months back, admitted to Yashoda hospital in Ghaziabad and Lohia Institute In Lucknow with “uncontrolled diabetes“.
