LUCKNOW || Three Uttar Pradesh cities have found a place in the Top-5 list of polluted cities in India this week, an official said on Wednesday. According to the list released by the Central Pollution Control Board, among the top five polluted Indian cities, two are from Uttar Pradesh.
With a poor air quality index of 368, Moradabad was in the second place while Kanpur was in fourth place with 346 AQI.
These findings bring Moradabad into an alarming ‘red zone’. Muzaffarpur in Bihar was at the top of the list with 426 AQI, Yamunanagar at third slot with 337, Kanpur fourth with 326 and greater Noida fifth with 294.
