LUCKNOW || Hundreds and thousands of people, mostly Hindu devotees on Thursday took the holy dip on the occasion of the last solar eclipse of the year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, like many others, across the country, tried their best to see the eclipse but could not at many places due to a lousy sky.
“Like many Indians, I was enthusiastic about #solareclipse2019,” PM Modi wrote on Twitter while adding how “unfortunately, I could not see the Sun due to cloud cover but I did catch glimpses of the eclipse in Kozhikode and other parts on the live stream. Also enriched my knowledge on the subject by interacting with experts“.
Most parts of north India are reeling under the intense cold wave and many places in NCR, north India have a cloudy morning on Thursday.
