LUCKNOW || It’s not many times that rich, money bags have a matching large heart of a giver too. But then, on many fronts, Pankaj Bhadouria is made of a different cast. India’s first ‘Master Chef’ for the past three years she has been sending food to 2000 underprivileged kids once a year.
This year too, on Sunday she had celebrities of the state capital cook sandwiches, soya rolls and much more for these kids. And in attendance were the high n’ mighty of the state, including the law minister Brajesh Pathak, IAS Navneet Sehgal and his wife Vandana, Lucknow mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, Jayant Krishna, writer Neelesh Misra, district magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma, senior IAS Avanish Awasthi, IPS Anand Kumar, Universal Book seller’s Gaurav Prakash and many more.
Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav’s better half Dimple Yadav too joined in, according to the organiser’s. The event also marked the 7th Anniversary Celebrations of the Pankaj Bhadouria Culinary Academy. The food is packed and sent to the underprivileged children in various orphanages, shelter homes and the destitute at old age homes.
