Nitish Kumar Inaugurates High-Speed Wi-fi Facility At Patna Zoo

PATNA || Amid the raging Coronavirus pandemic, there was finally some good news from the state of Bihar on Sunday as chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the new enclosures constructed for animals at the Sanjay Gandhi zoological garden in the state capital Patna. Along with this he also launched the wi-fi connectivity at the zoo.

The newly constructed enclosures include ones for the Rhino, a Rhino conservation and reproduction centre and a hyena enclosure.

The construction of the crocodile enclosure was done at a cost of Rs 96.82 lakh. In the crocodile enclosure 12 inmates - three male and nine females will be housed. The Rhino has been brought from Vietnam under an exchange programme.

An official informed that with the start of the wi-fi facility, the visitors will get free and high-speed internet connectivity while they are visiting the zoo. On his visit, Kumar was accompanied by his deputy in the government, Sushil Kumar Modi.
