Uttarakhand Chief Minister Inspects Construction Work At Kedarnath Temple Complex

Dehradun, April 26 (TNA) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Kedarnath temple complex on Tuesday and inspected the construction works and preparations related to the upcoming annual Chaar Dhaam Yatra. While inspecting the completed Saraswati Aastha Path in Kedarnath Dham, Dhami directed officials to complete the Mandakini Aastha Path construction soon.

He also inquired about the construction works of buildings in the Pahari style around the Kedarnath complex. He directed concerned departments to expedite the construction works with quality, removing the debris lying in the main road around the temple complex, removing the construction material and melting snow. During the inspection work, Chief Minister Shri of the hill state also enquired the well being of the workers who are contributing significantly in the construction of Kedar Valley.

Taking information about Kedarnath track, he talked about speeding up the construction works of rain shelters during stay, water and rain at different places according to the convenience of the passengers. Chief Minister Dhami directed to start the work on the banks of Mandakini and Saraswati rivers along with the construction of guardrails and development of Vasuki Tal track.

During the inspection, Tourism Secretary Dilip Jawalkar informed Dhami about the construction works. The Tourism Secretary said that for the convenience of the devotees, an entrance would be made in the temple premises. At present around 700 workers are employed in the construction of Kedarnath Dham. He informed that Brahma Kamal water park will also be constructed in Kedar Ghati.
