SHIRDI || In a very sad news coming from Shirdi, the public relations officer (PRO) of the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, which oversees the management of the temple, Mohan Yadav passed away due to COVID-19 late on Friday.

According to information available, he might have been infected possibly on his trips outside the temple town. Yadav was very popular, both amongst the management, staffers and devotees, for his ever-helping nature. He was 58. His wife has also been infected by the dreaded Coronavirus and is on ventilator, a source said.

Yadav was associated with the SSBS for more than 16 years. The temple draws millions of devotees from all across the world every year. The temple is off bounds for devotees and visitors since March, when the pandemic broke out in India. Maharashtra has been badly hit. The Puja and daily routine at the temple, including the aarti's four time continues.
