Monsoon Onset Over Kerala Likely By June 3, Predicts The Weatherman

New Delhi, May 31 (TNA) According to the National Weather Forecasting Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the southwesterly winds could strengthen further gradually from June 1.

This, the weatherman, said in a statement, will result in likely enhancement in rainfall activity over Kerala. Hence the monsoon onset over Kerala is likely to take place by June 3. This would also signal the entry of the monsoon in India.
