Coronavirus Pandemic: Classes Upto VIIIth Closed Till March 31, 2021, In Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, December 5 (TNA) In a major decision, which is set to go a long way in protecting the health and safety of school-going children, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh has decided to keep all the schools upto class VIIIth closed till March 31. The decision has been taken in view of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, an official informed.

According to fresh guidelines, the new academic session of the schools will begin from April 1, 2021. The state government has also decided that Board exams for class Vth and VIIIth will not be conducted this year and the assessment, for classes Ist to VIIIth will based on the project work.

It has also been decided that the Xth and XIIth classes would begin soon and that the Board exams for these two classes would also be conducted. It has also been decided to allow class IXth and class With students to be allowed to come to school for 1-2 days in a week.
