In New Delhi On Official Visit, Goa DGP Dies Of Heart Attack

NEW DELHI || In a shocking tragedy, the director-general of police (DGP) of Goa, Pranab Nanda passed away early on Saturday after suffering a massive heart attack, officials said. Nanda, a 1988 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer was on an official trip to the union capital when he complained of unease and breathless.

He was attended to immediately BY DOCTORS but could not be saved.

He was from the union territory cadre and had assumed the charge of the top cop of the coastal state of Goa in March this year.
His wife Sundari, has also served as Director-General of Police of Puducherry. The Goa police officials reacted with grief and disbelief at the sudden turn of events.
