New Delhi, October 24 (TNA) The Centre approved 320 postgraduate medical seats across six Himachal Pradesh government colleges, with Rs. 415 crore in central Assistance to strengthen medical education.
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda announced the approval of all 320 proposed postgraduate medical seats. The proposal was received on June 23 and discussed with the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister on October 6 before receiving the Centre’s approval, reflecting swift action on the State's healthcare priorities.
Nadda urged the state government to ensure timely creation of approved seats and expedite other Centre-supported development projects.
