Lucknow, November 6 (TNA) A young man was killed, and five others were seriously injured after a Scorpio SUV rammed into a DCM vehicle from behind in the Sarojininagar area of Lucknow early on Friday.
According to the preliminary information, the DCM was travelling ahead when the Scorpio collided with its rear at high speed. The impact severely damaged the SUV and left several occupants injured.

Rescue Operation
After receiving information about the crash, police and emergency teams reached the spot and rescued the injured. The victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared one of the young men dead.
The five seriously injured passengers were admitted for treatment. Their condition was reported to be critical, and medical teams were monitoring them closely.
Investigation Underway
Police secured the accident site and began investigating the circumstances leading to the collision. The exact cause-including whether speeding, poor visibility or driver fatigue played a role-was not immediately confirmed.
Officials are also working to establish the identities of the deceased and injured people and inform their families. The body was sent for post-mortem examination as further legal proceedings continued.
