New Delhi, August 24 (TNA) A promising young swimmer from Lucknow has made a strong mark on the national swimming circuit. Alina Rizvi, a Class 9-B student of Kunskapsskolan Lucknow, clinched two gold medals at the Delhi Open Talent Search Swimming Competition 2026, showcasing an impressive combination of speed, technique, composure and competitive spirit.
Organised by Swim For India Academy (SFIA), the competition was held on August 23, 2026, at the Dr SPM Swimming Pool Complex, New Delhi (formerly Talkatora Swimming Pool at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi). The meet brought together talented swimmers from across India as well as abroad, making Alina’s double-gold achievement particularly noteworthy.
Alina topped the podium in two demanding 50-metre events: 50 Metres Butterfly & 50 Metres Freestyle. Competing against a strong field, Alina displayed remarkable pace and technical control in the pool.
