Lucknow, September 9 (TNA) City-based FolkTales Studio will launch FolkTales Music Studio, an initiative aimed at nurturing and promoting emerging musical talent, with a special concert titled “Music in Soul” on September 12. The announcement was made during a press conference and an influencers’ meet held at FolkTales Studio in Lucknow on Wednesday.
The launch event will be held at Hotel Taj, Lucknow, from 5 pm to 8 pm and will feature performances by around 20 artists, including experienced performers and young talents. The programme will provide emerging musicians an opportunity to showcase their abilities on a common platform.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the performance of around 10-year-old singer and performer Adhyatm Sharma. Despite his young age, Adhyatm has already showcased his singing skills and lent his voice to projects associated with T-Series and Doordarshan. He will also perform with his father, Manuj Sharma, as part of a special father-son presentation.
FolkTales Music Studio aims to offer emerging artists access to training, performance opportunities and a wider platform to present their work. Through the initiative, the organisation plans to encourage local artists and support the next generation of talent in music and creative expression.
The initiative was announced after a courtesy meeting with Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh. According to FolkTales Studio, the minister appreciated the effort to strengthen the cultural economy and create new opportunities for creative talent.
FolkTales Director Raj Smriti said the organisation had spent the past 10 years preserving stories and celebrating Indian culture, and would now work towards taking them to a global audience. “Through FolkTales Music Studio and talents like Adhyatm, we aim to take Indian music to the global stage. This is just the beginning,” she said.
