Agra, August 31 (TNA) Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar has taken strict disciplinary action against eight police personnel, including lining up two inspectors and suspending six others over allegations of corruption and negligence. The action was taken late Saturday night, according to local reports.
The inspectors of Sadar and Jagner police stations were sent to the line, while six other policemen were suspended with immediate effect. The move came after complaints and an internal intelligence report reportedly flagged misconduct, negligence, and alleged involvement in illegal activities.
