GORAKHPUR || A youth in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the police for making a derogatory comment on Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. He will appear before a local court later on Thursday.
The youth has been identified as Ritesh Barnwal and after a case was filed against him by local Congress leaders at the Cantt police station.
Later a delegation of Congress leaders led by district president Nirmala Paswan had called on the district police chief Sunil Gupta and asked him to take action against the man for his objectionable post against Vadra. A case has been slapped on the accused under the IT Act.
