MUMBAI || Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra on Monday opened up to the suicide of 34-year-old Sushant Singh Rajput. In a tweet, the legendary actor also referred to as the “original He-Man of the Hindi films” said that while he had never met the budding actor in person or ever saw his films, he was still shocked and saddened by the tragedy.
“Pyaare Sushant, naa film dekhi na kabhi mila tum se ….par tere achaanak chale jaane se bada sadma laga !!! ” he wrote. Known to be a very emotional person and a kid at heart, the 84-year-old actor went on to say that while showbiz remained a “beloved” it was also “very cruel” He apparently was referring to the ups and downs that every actor has had a share of during his film career.
Dharmendra, known to have given one of the biggest hits in Bollywood, further said: I can imagine your unbearable pain. I share the pain of your loving family and friends. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in the bedroom of his Bandra flat on Sunday afternoon.
