LUCKNOW || An explosion injured some lawyers in the Lucknow district court on Thursday as a bomb was lobbed on an office bearer of the Avadh Bar Council, police said. The police have also recovered three live bombs from the court premises. Police said that the bombs were of low intensity.
Policemen also told The News Agency that initial findings indicate that a man called Jitu Yadav was behind the bombs being lobbed at some opponents. A complaint had been made to the Bar Council on Wednesday but apparently nothing was done, regarding a feud between two lawyers
The attack was aimed at Sanjeev Lodhi, a lawyer. He is also an office bearer in the Bar Council. A large police posse is stationed at the court even as angry lawyers are staging a protest. More details are awaited.
