LUCKNOW || The district administration of the state capital on Tuesday announced the closure of Bada Imambada, Bhool Bhuliyyan, Chota Imambada, Shahi Hamam, Picture Gallery and the Shahnazaf Imambada with immediate effect.
District Magistrate of Lucknow Abhishek Prakash said in a signed document that with the powers vested in him to meet epidemics like Corona Virus he had decided to close all these tourist places till March 31, 2020.
He also warned that any laxity or non-compliance of these orders would draw penal action. Due to the threat of COVID-19, the Uttar Pradesh government has already announced the closure of the Taj Mahal in Agra and other tourist spots across the state.
The Lucknow zoo has already been closed for visitors.
