Action Sought Against Officials Allowing UP MLA To Visit Uttarakhand

LUCKNOW || In the case of permission granted to MLA Aman Mani Tripathi to travel in Uttarakhand, activist Nutan Thakur has sought action against Additional Chief Secretary to CM, Uttarakhand Om Prakash.

In her complaint to Ministry of Home Affairs and DOPT, Government of India, Nutan has said that permissions are being granted for travels in rarest cases of extreme urgency. The work stated by Om Prakash in his letter to grant permission to Aman Mani Tripathi to move Uttarakhand is not of urgent nature in any manner.

Yet Om Prakash gave directions to permit Aman Mani with 11 men in 3 vehicles to move in different districts of Uttarakhand, which is a criminal act and is also gross administrative misconduct. Hence she has sought FIR and administrative action against Om Prakash. She has also sought action against those officers of UP who are found guilty in this matter.

The independent lawmaker from Nautanwa in Uttar Pradesh has since been booked along with 11 others for breaching the lockdown.
