MUMBAI || Known to share old trivia along with photographs and written posts, Abhishek Bachchan has now shared a unique story that takes people across his fandom down memory lane. Reminiscing the days when he first stepped out into the limelight, he recalled his first performance with his father on stage.

This was his performance with his dad after he became an actor. In a photo that has been shared, the father-son duo is seen dancing on stage. Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan have worked in many films together. This includes Bunty Aur Babli, Pa, Sarkar and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Shared as the week comes to a gradual close on his Instagram, Abhishek wrote – Flashback Friday. My first stage performance after becoming an actor. I shared it with my cool dad. The event was held in December 2004 to raise funds to help victims of the Tsunami.

Everyone from the Hindi film industry attended this event. The event was organized by Sanjay Dutt. He said – because I was to perform at the IIFA Awards in Amsterdam later that year, I could not refuse to Sanju sir.

Abhishek further wrote- At that time I was also shooting for Bunty and Babli with my father. Papa and I performed on his mix songs and danced to Sunil Shetty’s film Raaj in which I did a cameo on One Love. The show took place in February 2005. Papa and I were shooting the song Kajra Re with Aishwarya. I used to shoot Bunty and Babli from 9 am to 10 pm, then went to rehearsals throughout the night by going to the concert venue.

Abhishek further says- I shot Kajra Re on the birthday. I remember when I reached the rehearsal venue after finishing the shoot, all the lights were there.

After that it seems I made a mistake because there was no one for the rehearsal. Suddenly all the lights of the stage hit me and all the dancers, choreographer Ganesh Hegde and technical staff gave a surprise. After that Sanju sir brought me a big cake and gave me a birthday gift. They all sang a birthday song for me as well. Good days
