LUCKNOW || A senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday questioned the barbs by cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir on Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for ordering the sealing of the Delhi borders for one week.
State spokesman, Vaibhav Maheshwari has questioned the “double standards” of the BJP MP for his comments on Kejriwal after he decided to close all borders of Delhi with other states, in view of the growing cases of Novel Coronavirus.
“When Yogi Adityanath seals the border, it’s okay, when Kejriwal does it, he is targeted, when Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar does it, it is okay but when Kejriwal does it, he is again targeted,” Maheshwari said in a Tweet.
Gambhir, is the first-time MP from East Delhi had tweeted: Just to hide your FAILURE, you want to punish innocent ppl merely because they live across the border? Those are INDIANS just like you and me! You promised of being ready for 30,000 patients in April, remember? Why ask such leading questions now Mr Tughlaq?
