600-Plus Travellers Restricted At Homes In UP, No Corona Virus Positive

LUCKNOW || The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday announced that so far there is no positive case of the dreaded novel Coronavirus in the state. The directorate of health services in the state said that two people, who travelled to the flu-hit China have been quarantined and put under a close watch of medics at the district hospital in Aligarh district.

In all, 600-plus travellers to China have also been restricted in their homes and are being tested as they continue to be in isolation. “We are taking all necessary precautions against the outbreak and so far thankfully there is no positive case of the virus,” a health official told The News Agency.

UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath has already taken stock of the situation and has directed isolation wards to be created at all district hospitals in the state.
