13.5 Foot Python Captured At Mathura Village In Uttar Pradesh

MATHURA || A huge python, measuring 13.5 feet, was rescued from Mirzapur village in Mathura district by a team of Wildlife SOS on Tuesday, officials said.

Apparently due to loss of natural habitat, a large number of reptiles are entering villages and urban clusters and this python seems to be part of one such pack.

This python was about to devour a goat when villagers spotted it and rescued the goat. The villagers informed wildlife experts soon and the reptile was captured.

The captured reptile is kept under observation and would be released back in nature, an official of the Wildlife SoS said.
